Fyzické vlastnosti člověka ho determinují k tomu, že jednoduše neví, co se mu děje za zády. Kráčíme  ulicemi, stojíme ve frontě, pohybujeme se místy, městy. Když si představíme scénu, která se za námi může odehrávat, myšlenky jako by se shlukly do abstraktních forem: domy, postavy, kvádry, vertikály…

Video Za zády je obrazovým přepisem tohoto pocitu, kdy se s klidnou tváří díváme dopředu, zatímco za námi se odehrávají tušené, v podstatě abstraktní děje. Současně se tento pocit může týkat jakési předtuchy, opět ne zcela konkrétní představy situací, které teprve mohou nastat.

We walk through the streets, stand in a queue, move within places, towns. When we try to imagine the scene, which might be happening behind our back, these thoughts seem to merge into abstract forms: houses, figures, ashlars, verticals…

The video is a visual transcript of the feeling, when we look forward with a calm face while there are rather abstract, sensed story-lines taking place behind our back. At the same time, this feeling can refer to a kind of premonition, again an indistinct notion of situations, which could come into being.
